Whether the new system of rotating cards works or not, it’s reassuring to know one of the major sports game developers won’t stick with a bad idea out of stubbornness. The shift back to the more popular iteration of team affinity is a welcome one. San Diego Studios has shown tremendous maturity in both not being afraid to make major changes for the sake of shaking things up and improving the yearly formula, but also reverting to old systems when a new change didn't work out. The older system also had better players tied to it.
